KID TITHERS FELLOWSHIP

Tithing only for Dad and Mom?

     Not for the 25 kids who joined the Kid Tithers Fellowship last January 24, 2009. The morning activity was conceptualized to teach children about tithing (10% of allowances/gifts) and giving. Pastor Pete Torio gave encouragements on how little children can give their tithes to God. As part of the activity, the kids designed their own tithe envelopes which will be used every Sunday. A “shadow show” was also witnessed followed by a snack - a treat kids always love.

     Teaching the kids about tithing and generous giving have been a year round campaign of the Stewardship Committee led by Mrs. Zorn De Vera. It was also planned that the Kid Tithers Fellowship will be incorporated with the Bible Kids Club as one of its activities.
