The United Methpdist Youth Fellowship is more than just an evening of food, fellowship, and fun. It is one of the primary settings where youth can take seriously their journey of faith: to encounter the living Christ. Through building relationships, asking questions, worshipping God, and transforming lives, UMYF members learn what it means to be the Church. The UMYF experience stands as one of the most significant influences available to the local church.
The UMYF as an organization seeks: to discover through worship, study and service the will of God for the youth, for the church, and for all humanity; to provide direction to help coordinate the total program of; and take participation in the life and mission of the church.
It is the Christian worship and mission that sets a Christian youth group apart from social or service clubs.
